DHL Express Demand Surcharge (October 1, 2026 – February 5, 2027)

DHL Express has introduced a temporary Demand Surcharge to maintain service levels during the peak air cargo season.

[Period] October 1, 2026 – February 5, 2027

[What changes] DHL Express shipping fees on KCOSW now include this surcharge. It is charged per kg of billed weight and depends on the destination region. DHL's fuel surcharge also applies to it.

[Surcharge per kg (shipments from Korea)]

• China, Hong Kong, Macau: KRW 200
• Asia: KRW 200
• Oceania: KRW 900
• Europe: KRW 2,200
• Americas: KRW 2,600
• Middle East & North Africa: KRW 2,100
• All other countries: KRW 1,500

Example: a 10kg DHL shipment to the United States costs about KRW 43,000 more in shipping.

[Not affected] K-Packet, EMS and EMS Premium are not affected.

[Orders already placed] For wholesale orders, the final shipping cost is confirmed when your order is packed. DHL shipments sent during the period above will include this surcharge in the final shipping cost.
